Ryan is fierce and loyal she is as drawn to Silas as much as he is to her. Silas hasn't felt anything in a long time but one touch from Ryan has him feeling everything and it's addicting but will they ever be able to be together when there are so many dark forces working to keep them apart?
Probably the first book I've read where I am rooting for a dark character (death, Balor & Kere) to get a happily ever after. A lot of drama and tension present in the book with Nyx will she succeed with her evil plans?
I wouldn't have picked this book up on my own but I'm so glad I was introduced to it! Really enjoyable fast paced story that kept me turning pages and on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next for all of the characters. (book club pick).

Can the threads of fate be mistaken? Ryan is in a car crash with her mother while going to look at an apartment. Ryan was slated to die. Death, Silas, comes for Ryan, but her mother intervenes, begging Silas to take her in her daughter's place. After the incident, Silas is incredibly drawn to Ryan, but he doesn't know why. Silas continues to intervene in Ryan's life, becoming her protector. So the question must be asked: Could you, or would you, fall in love with death? Can death fall in love with a mere human?
I absolutely loved this book, and hope that there are more installments for Silas and Ryan.

I did not buy this book from Amazon. But I wanted to leave a review for anyone interested in reading it!
This book is *chefs kiss* 💋 from the writing style, to the plot twists, to the characters in general! (I personally loved kere) Falling in love with Death automatically grabbed my attention and kept it, I could NOT put this book down! I have been in a reading slump and this book pulled me right out! I've always loved stories about the underworld and this book is by far my favorite❤️ I loved the banter between characters, this book totally nailed my sense of humor and chit Chat lol. I did not however appreciate having my heart ripped out of my chest. The moment between Ryan and her mom made me cry 😢 ... at work no less. I enjoyed the spice, to me there wasn't alot of "spice" itself but the steamy moments and the tension that is very detailed made me turn red ( I got called out by my hubby, how rude, right?) 10 outta 10 recommend this book

Silas and Ryan stole my attention, but Kere and Balor had my heart! All the characters were great and the writer does an amazing job getting you right into the dark pull from page one.
Get your coins ready and head on over to the River Styx and get ready to fall in love with death, I know I did. I'll take Balor as my book husband anyway and okay Silas too...make my own why choose here 🥰🥰

Ryan is touched by death. Having miraculous escaped a car crash that took her mother, she is trying to move on and live life but keeps having nightmares. Her nightmares are her connection with Death, aka Silas. He can't get her out of his head and is secretly invisibly watching her. When she seems to be targeted again for death, he knows something more is going on.
Silas and Ryan are almost star crossed lovers with their supporting demon "friends" of Balor and Kere. The major dark vs light arc of the story extends to everyone at some point.
I enjoyed the back and forth and different realm descriptions. Hopefully there's more character stories to come.

"The plot was so catchy and easy going yet complex that had me devouring it. If you could see my notes lol like 80% is highlighted!! I loved the connection with their wolves, the fated mates trope and I must confess I cried about Adam and Kylie, and loved that others found their fated mates too in the middle of warn kind of like you never know when love is gonna hit you hard. Also, Nora had an amazing development and her character, personality and emotions growth throughout the story. The romance was on point and sweet Lord, Jace was perfection! Who doesn’t love someone so passionate and devoted in love with you? Plus he was smart and strategic, but yet caring… totally in love with him tbh. Let’s not forget about Noah…I’m in love with him, he was so refreshing. Can we talk how much of a psycho Lance is? I can’t wait for the next book!!"

Well written with a good story line and interacting characters. Even with so many of them you still got a feeling for each person, and here able to relate to them. With hate was engraved into her for centuries over just after meeting the Alpha she learnt to over come that hate engrained in her to find love. Fated mates from enemies to lovers.

Oh my goodness. Absolutely fabulous book. Good characters with a strong female lead who takes no *poop*. Great pace and storytelling, with few spicy times and a bit of gore (it's a war after all). I love the character strengths and dynamics. I CANNOT wait for book two. Now off to find other books by SE Dymek to hold the time. Maybe also reading this one this summer!!
